Girl Who Survived Avalanche Released From Hospital

The little five year old girl from Restilica, Kosovo that survived being buried under 33 inches of snow for ten hours after an avalanche Saturday morning was released from the hospital earlier today.

Amsela Reka, the sole survivor from the avalanche that killed seven of her relatives and another family of three, is suffering from second-degree cold burns on both of her hands.

The rescue search continues as they are still looking for Amsela's uncle. However, the search could be postponed as the deep freeze in eastern Europe continues with more snowfall headed towards Kosovo.
