(Check It Out! Photos!) BEVERLY HILS, California- American singer-actress Whitney Houston was confirmed dead by her publicist Kristen Foster. The 48-year-old pop music's queen was found dead on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on February 11, 2012.

According to source, a 911 call was placed at around 3:23 PM and authorities were immediately dispatched. The multi-awarded singer-actress was found unconscious and the rescuers tried to resuscitate her but it was failed.

Many are speculating that drugs may have played a part in her death.
