Costa Concordia From the bridge of the ship

A channel of Italy published a picture of what happened in the command room of the ship upon impact against the rocks. "There are people jumping on the lifeboats," says an officer. "Oh well ..." replies Schettino.

The video recording is not known by whom, shows the command room after the ship ran aground off the island of Giglio Tuscany. chaos and indecision after the accident. The phrase "Abandon Ship" is not pronounced until 22:58, an hour after the ship's hull the ship crashed into the rocks.

As shown in this video assembled by Il Corriere Della Sera, for the first time you can see what happened in the main room of the ship where the captain was, along with other officers and other persons not distinguished. It can also be seen how Captain Francesco Schettino was for a time on the phone.

In the recording you can hear how someone warns the captain that passengers have begun to discuss the lifeboats. " Vabbuò ! " says the captain, in what could be translated as a "Well ...".

It is not known who shot the pictures. When that person finally leaves the room and proceeds command to leave the ship can hear the footsteps of someone in high heels. Why he recorded this whole sequence is not known.

The recording has been sent to TG5 air channel. "This is new for us, and is the first time I see him," said prosecutor of Francesco, Verusio Grosseto.
