Numerical Expositions: Genesis 24:50

Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the Lord: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good.

-- Gen. 24:50 (KJV)

They replied back to the servant that this whole scenario has been orchestrated by God. When something proceeds from God, it is neither bad or good, it just is. God is on a higher plateau than morality. In morality, the key is to figure out the difference between right and wrong because things don not appear as they really are. The realm of truth is above morality because that is how things really are. The opinion of others does not matter. When things are done through God, then it happens the way that He planned for it to happen whether you like it or not. Shut up your naysayers by continuing to do whatever proceeds out of God's mouth for you to do.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 6,5,2,4. (6) To expose evil, speak correctly. (5) Follow after God's presence so that you will have discernment. (2) Walk in God's kingdom in order to keep your naysayers in neutral. (4) Stay in God's Word in order to keep your naysayers in neutral.
