car accident

It was a horrific accident in Ontario between a transport truck and a passenger van and the authorities are yet to ascertain how the accident occurred. Drivers of both the vehicles lost their lives as well as 9 passengers. The condition of another 2 is serious.

The weather was clear, and the mangled dead bodies had to be extricated from the wreckage.

The van was carrying 13 persons - and all were migrant laborers headed to a nearby chicken hatchery or chicken farm. There we no children involved in the crash – all the dead were adult men and women, mostly non English speaking persons.
