Green Party candidate Elizabeth May

Looks like comedienne/actress Rosanne Barr is officially running for U.S. President on the Green Party ticket. Check out the February 3, 2012 ABC News article, Rosanne Barr is officially running for president.

The comedienne registered with the Federal Election Commission in late January to run for the Green Party nomination, the Los Angeles Times reports. Now the question remains whether voters will be so 'massive' in numbers to distract votes from the mainstream political parties.

See the video, Roseanne Barr: I'm Running for President from "Hollyscoop TV." And also check out 2012 Green Party Candidates from the Green Party Watch site. Also see, Roseanne Barr: 5 things you didn't know about the Green Party.

Would you vote for Roseanne Barr? Why? Do you think she's qualified by education to be president of the United States? The Green Party has never gotten enough votes for any of their candidates to outperform the other mainstream political parties. But if you're green environmentally, will you be voting for her if she qualifies and her name is put on the ticket?

Rosanne Barr's platform is that she represesnts the 99 percent of the rest of us and that the main parties running are backed by the one percent that's wealthy corporate America. Barr, according to the ABC News article reports that "she’s been 'a tireless advocate of Occupy Wall Street' since its beginning."

Barr announced her presidential bid (for the second time) on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in August. You can check out information about Barr's position on running with the Green Party Watch.

See, Green Party Watch - America's #1 Source for Green Party News. The story also appears in the Washington Post blog. However, Roseanne Barr still has to be nominated by the Green Party. That remains to be seen. Do you think she'll be nominated by the Green Party to run?
