On Tuesday Producer Cameron Mackintosh confirmed the news live on state at the Manchester Palace at the end of the performance of the musical "Oliver!"

Eponine is the daughter of two impoverished and wacky swindler, played byand . When she is older, Eponine follows her love interest, students Marius, played by Eddie Redmayne of "My Week With Marilyn," to become a resistance fighter in the 19th century France.
She played Eponine on stage in 2010 and the history repeat itself as she played it again for the 25th anniversay London concert at the O2 Arena in 2011.
The cast also starring Hugh Jackman (Jean Valjean), Russell Crowe (Javert), Eddie Redmayne (Marius), Aaron Tveit (Enjolras),(Fantine), Amanda Seyfried (Cosette) and Helena Bonham Carter (Madame Thenardier) in the big screen musical slated for release in December.
