Mexico ambassador kidnapped in Venezuela

In an event that shocked the diplomatic corps in Venezuela, fourguys brazen armed attack and kidnap wife Pujalte AmbassadorCarlos Mexico, before releasing them four hours later. According to Reuters, he Pujalte wife threatened to leave the car after a party at around midnight at 01.30 in the region upstream of the capital, Caracas.

Fortunately, they were released at dawn through a slum. MexicoEmbassy spokesman said the ambassador and his wiferemained calm and good psychological recovery after the kidnapping. It is unclear motives of kidnappers and authoritiesare investigating the incident.

This is not the first time criminal groups active in the foreigndiplomats in Venezuela. In May 11.2011, Consul Juan CarlosFernandez Chile had been kidnapped and beaten before beingrescued.
