President Obama celebrate one-year anniversary of Startup America Policy Challenge

President Obama Speaks about Startup America

In December 2011, Startup America Policy Challenge launched by President Obama. Startup America is President Obama's initiative to celebrate, inspire, and accelerate high-growth entrepreneurship throughout the nation.

Secretary Arne Duncan (Department of Education), Secretary Steven Chu (Department of Energy), and Secretary Kathleen Sebelius (Department of Health and Human Services) each asked the American public for ideas about how the U.S. government can break down barriers to entrepreneurship and enable the use of clean energy, digital learning, and health information technologies.

President Obama also believes that the United States can lead the world in clean energy and he wants to assure that business are in the best place to be succesful. Now he wants to hear from American people an ideas on how to accelerate innovation in energy and place the United States to lead in the critical sector.
