Facebook has become a "water-cooler" of sorts for millions of users and many religiously update their status daily or post other titbits, photos and articles.
Incredible good has resulted from some interaction on the number one social network but it is not without it's horror stories as well. People have killed over facebook status fights. a pregnant woman was murdered and her baby cut out of her uterus by a madwoman she befriended on facebook. In the good news department, a mother saved her child's life by the advice given on the Social Network.
One of the highlight of the site is users "status update" and some can be creative as well as in poor taste.
One user set out to make history with her posts and garnered over one million comments from just one of them.
According to Huffpost article Woman's Post Gets 1 Million Comments, Tracey Hodgeson from California wanted to enter the Guinness Book of Records from most commented Facebook post and so on October 30th, 2011 around 7:00 a.m., she wrote on the wall of the Facebook group Ffgpioneers/gwr/attempt the following status:
hi all!!! , hope everyone is ok today , this is ''the one'', please talk about anything you like here, whatever you want to talk about, change topic whenever you like also, just have fun , . so how are you all today?( please someone speak quick or i'll have no nails left!!!) ;-) x x x.
I visited the Facebook page to see for myself and the group's 103 members have commented thousands of times over to bring the total to 1,001,609 with 41 likes!
Do folks have this amount of time on their hands? Well, we are in a high-unemployment, stagnant economy so I guess this beats shopping the malls on credit cards, no income and a smile.
