Nigerian Church, KCI, Plans Big for Valentine, Features New Romance Techniques

As part of its commitment to ensuring that marriages survive trying times, Kings Church International, (KCI) Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos has said that it will be hosting couples to an evening of marital bliss where new romantic techniques will be unveiled.

A statement from the presiding pastor of the church, Pastor Fred Igho said that the church is keying into the celebration of this year’s St. Valentine Day celebration to rekindle the first love that made couples to take their marital vows years ago.

According to him, the event tagged FIRE-PROOF, which will hold at the church auditorium located at 43, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oluyole B/stop, Oregun Ikeja on February 18 by 2.00pm is also designed to help protect the fire of couples love from going off.

He said that the event, which will afford couples the opportunity to spend quality time together is loaded with several side attraction and at no cost to any couple who want to fire-proof his or her relationship.

Among some of the special features of the couples day out that the church is hosting as part of its corporate social responsibility program for the year 2012 is a talk show, titled No Holds Bar, in which critical issues concerning romance and relationship will be treated.

The statement also said that couples will also be allowed in another session of the evening to express their minds on issues that bother them in their marriage adding that couples who need help will be scheduled to meet with marriage counselors.

Describing it as an event that couples cannot afford to miss, the statement said that there will be an exposition on the principles of building strong and healthy Christian homes.

While urging couples to brave all odds to be at the event, Pastor Igho said that the event is a give back programof the church to the society adding that as a church, KCI is committed to impacting on the society.

He said that there are new romance techniques that couples will find useful to make their marriage to begin to bubble again adding that doing one thing the same way all the time can be very boring.

According to the Pastor, the couples day out is not just only for the couples but also an opportunity for the church to assist families to boost family values in their home noting that when the family is stable, the society will be stable.
