The British authorities reported to have formally approved 203 million pounds equaling Rs.30 billion for supporting Khyber Pakthunkhwa education development programme for next five years.
Between the two governments a memorandum of understanding to this effect will be signed next month, Education Sector Reforms Unit director Akhunzada Riaz Bahar disclosed on Saturday.
Mr. Akhunzada explained that 60 per cent of the approved money would go to the elementary and secondary education through budgetary support for use in the areas prioritized by the education department.
