Finally! Former Massachusetts Governorannounced on Sunday that he would release his tax returns on Tuesday. This announcement happened after his debacle last week in South Carolina when he told reporters that he would not release his returns until April, after the GOP Primary would have been decided.
He was sort of reluctant about releasing his tax returns because he also told reporters last week that his estimated tax rate is about 15% instead of the normal tax rate of the middle class ranges from 30 to 35 percent. This claim accentuates the nickname that has been given to him by political pundits of "Mr. One Percent."
Further reasons into why Romney has been sketchy about his tax returns will be found out tomorrow. Speculation has been running high in regards to this issue. Rumors of hiding money in offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands and of offering money to the Church of the Latter-Day Saints, a religious organization which has derogatory beliefs towards anyone who is not Caucasian.
