Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are over the moon as they are about to become parents very soon. The couple broke this news to People magazine, saying, "We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."
Kristin is extremely excited to be a mother. She expressed her happiness on Twitter on Monday when she tweeted, "Thanks for all the sweet messages! We are so excited for this little bun in the oven”.
Former “The Hills” star Kristin Cavallari began dating Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in the fall of 2010 after meeting through a mutual friend. They got engaged in April 2011, after which their relationship faced numerous problems. However, they were able to reconcile all differences. Cavallari, 25, and Cutler, 28, had a rough 2011; they called off their engagement in July just a few months after getting married. News about their break up spread like rapid fire all over social media.
"She got dumped," a source told People at the time. "She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening. Kristin was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location - everything was set. She's in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way."
But the pair gave it another shot in the fall, reuniting during Cavallari's brief stint on "Dancing with the Stars". They got engaged again in November; Cavallari tweeted to reveal this news for her fans as well as the public. She wrote, "This time it's official…Jay and I are engaged again”.
"She is really happy. She is in the early stages, but she can't wait to be a mom," a source told USmagazine.com. "They have just bought a house in Tennessee and can't wait to start their family."
Kristin Cavallari didn’t use to talk openly about her marriage and relationship earlier, but now she has opened up in front of the media. She said, "The past year has been interesting. There have been a lot of ups and downs, but overall it's been great. We're just enjoying being engaged," she said, adding, "We were definitely planning the first time, but I can't plan the same wedding. I need to do something entirely different."
"Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end – even if it's momentarily”.
