New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft said on Saturday that former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe who was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame in 2011 will hand the Lamar Hunt trophy to his former team after the American Football Conference (AFC) championship game if the New England Patriots defeat the Baltimore Ravens Sunday in Gillette Stadium.

The winning team will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl to be played in two weeks in Indianapolis Indiana.

Robert told ESPN Boston he named Bledsoe his honorary captain this week and he is honored to have his former quarterback available to represent his team.

Bledsoe said when he learned of his former employer's plans "Really? Wow."
