Ron Paul

No matter what happens in the primary for Ron Paul in South Carolina, he has already gained solid backing and momentum with plenty of supporters willing to dig deep to keep him in the marathon for the Republican presidential race thanks to his honest message and lifestyle to back it up.

It is as if Ron Paul supporters start out like a kernel of popcorn. As they learn about his message of freedom, economic solutions and minimum government--they begin to heat up in the hot oil of the realities of our dismal future in America if things remain in the status quo. Seekers of truth begin to look for answers.

When they gain insight, they can't take it anymore and pop in the new found discovery that following the Constitution like our founding fathers is one of the solutions. Once they explode into a fluffy white cloud they are incapable of going back to looking like that lifeless corn seed again. When the enlightened individuals get to that point, it's all over for sitting on the sidelines, now they are liberty fighters, alive and fully engaged in the r3VOLution.

On Freedom Watch, Judge Andrew Napolitano interviewed one of Ron Paul's 18 grandchildren, soon to be a doctor, Laura Paul Fite. When the judge asked her, "Why do you think so many young people have found such a warm comfortable place in your grandfather's campaign?"

Beautiful Ms. Paul Fite said, "I think when they listen to my grandfather they don't hear that he's just using talking points or saying what he thinks the people want to hear him say, he's saying a message that he truly believes in and you can tell it's different from what other people say."

Many college students have exploded over the Texas Congressman. Some said that he was basically their only option. If he didn't become the Republican nominee they said they would probably write him in over settling for someone else. "I've worked a long time on this campaign, he's the person I want to be president of the United States--my vote doesn't belong to the Democrats or the Republicans, my vote belongs to me and I'm choosing to vote for Ron Paul," said Trip Davis, Youth for Ron Paul Chapter leader, University of Central Florida on CNN.

Also, this week four senators popped up and endorsed Dr. Paul. South Carolina's favored Senator Tom Davis, while the other three were Senator Kevin Bryant, Senator Danny Verdin, and Danny Verdin. "Dr. Ron Paul, more than any other candidate in this Republican field has the vision, the courage, and the convictions to take steps necessary to put this country on track."

Comedian Stephen Colbert burst open this week for Ron Paul and said, "The guy is intellectually consistent--he doesn't change with the winds and that's admirable, I think."

Meanwhile, many fully engaged supporters hope enough new individuals will see the integrity and economical solutions of Texas Rep. Ron Paul, before it's too late to turn this country around economically. How do I know? I'm an active subscriber and participant on The Daily Paul forums. Once I saw the light, I burst out and can't get enough information about my choice for the 2012 President of the United States of America.

Stephanie, I like your analogy using popcorn to illustrate past, present and future state of US government. I share with your earnest hope and prayers that millions of Ron Paul supporters will continue to pop all over America until election day and President Ron Paul will pop victoriously after. Rate you up.

Thanks dhreff, I think Ron Paul is America's only hope. But apparently you know that by all the articles I write about him, huh?

Here's the thing that I don't get about his campaign. He claims to have all of this support nationwide, but he won't win a state in this primary.

Ron Paul is so different from others, it is difficult for people to accept a politician that does not lie and pander to the crowds. Ron Paul only believes in Biblical, legal wars, America is used to a military that bullies the world. He wants that to stop. SC is a major military state that wants more military because that's how people make their money. If there is less military they are afraid they will all suffer. But they do not understand him.

I was a bit worried about your headline that Ron Paul's supporters were exploding. I thought that perhaps they were mounting suicide attacks. There seems to be an anyone but Ron Paul campaign as well as an anyone but Romney campaign. The press does not seem to even mention Paul most of the time.

Yeah, I wondered if it was too much, but I couldn't think of a better word to describe their support! He gets ditched by the press. They are afraid, they are being controlled by Corp money. They don't want Ron Paul. He'll ruin their monopoly of money printed out of thin air and little or no taxes.
