24-year old Russell Christopher Hofstad of Phoenix has admitted that he had skinned a cat and eaten it due to being hungry. He had been camping inside a warehouse-cum-music venue in Phoenix.

He had the entrails of the cat and its tail draped around his neck and wanted to keep the skeleton of the cat as a decorative piece.

Police have arrested him on charges of burglary and cruelty to animals. He had come out of jail on 10th January and had selected the warehouse as a temporary shelter because he had attended several music sessions there.
