In a significant development, the Jammu & Kashmir peace foundation is going to conduct 39th peace conference at Abhinav theatre Jammu. One day peace conference on the eve of Republic Day and Shahidi Devas of Father of nation Mahatma Gandhi.Esteemed Shiri N.N Vohra the Governor of state (chief patron of JKPF)is participating as chief guest .Noted peace activists, scholars, intellectuals, religious leaders from all the three regions, V.C's, Ministers ,M.p's, legislatures, and youth leaders are expected to participate in this conference .

Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, the Chief Patron Jammu& Kashmir Peace Foundation, while talking to this correspondent said,” The JKPF is organizing this event annually on the eve of republic day and we hope this year to be an special event with presence of august gathering. We as an organization are striving hard to envisage a peaceful region via peaceful resolution of issues.”
