American talk show Divapaid a visit to the legendary Taj Mahal in Agra in India on Thursday, Jan 19, 2011.
Soaking in the beauty of the majestic ancient Moghul monument, Oprah spent more than an hour there.
Meanwhile her camera crew captured this 17th Century marble wonder in all its pristine glory from different angles for her new talk show.
The immensely charismatic Oprah was literally trailed by hundreds of media personnel, photographers and admirers.
This mass adulation made protecting her an overwhelming task for her body guards, who did not want to create another scene with the media, like the earlier fiasco at Mathura.
When one of the TV channels (CNN-IBN) anchors enquired about what she thought of the Taj Mahal.
For once a speechless and obviously spellbound Oprah Winfrey responded “Oh, there are no words for (describing) Taj …. There are no words. It’s just amazing, amazing …..its been an expansive eye-opening sensual experience," she gushed.
Later while taking a guided tour of the Taj Mahal she eulogised to Hindustan Times: “It’s a centurial visit. India is so diverse. It’s gorgeous. It’s like paradise. It has been an overwhelming experience to come here.”

With regard to the earlier fracas between Oprah's body-guards and the video journos, the police had somehow managed to pacify and work out a compromise between both the sides, namely the aggrieved local TV photo-journalists and her bodyguards.
Later, it was learnt that the local administration had sent a report to the State Govt.’s home department emphasizing that such high-profile visits without prior intimation could cause law and order problems.
