Men hacked to death after aids fire victims
JOHOR BARU: A man died after he was hacked a few hours to help the victims of fire at a flat in Taman Tun Aminah Ungku here earlier today.
Tang Nyuk Yeow, 44, a self-employed, hacked at a mamak restaurant adjacent to the flat Mighty 3rd Street here at 1:20 in the morning. It is understood, Tang who live in blocks of 47, went from house to house to inform people of their flat block 48 that is on fire. District police chief of North Karachi, Assistant Commissioner Ruslan Hassan said the incident, the victim was enjoying a drink with friends at a restaurant when a group of men riding two motorcycles came and menetaknya.
"The victim attacked one of the groups using the knife in the neck, arms and body," said Ruslan.
The victim tried to escape but failed after hacked twice before collapsing and dying in front of the restaurant cashier counters.
Victim was sent to Sultanah Aminah Hospital here.
Striker involved that do not use face masks why not injure a friend of the victim.
Preliminary investigations, however, found that closed-circuit recording cameras (CCTV) is not working the restaurant during the incident.
"Police are still investigating the exact cause of the incident and did not rule out the possibility of motives due to revenge," he said.
