World’s biggest 57,000 carat emerald will be up for auction at Westerns Star Auctions in British Columbia, Canada on January 28. The massive emerald assumed to be the world’s largest weighs 11.5kg and around 12 inches long, reported the Yahoo Shine. The jewel has been named ‘Teodora’ which means “God’s Gift.”

It is from Brazilian origin and was cut in India. Asking price sets $1.15 million for the emerald at the auction. However Mike Odenbach, the owner of the auction house believes to fetch more than the asking price.
