KABUL: An Afghan calligrapher created the world’s biggest Holy Quran. According to details Afghan calligrapher worked for the 5 years to create this largest Holy book of Quran. The pages size of the Quran are 2.28 meters by 1.55 meters and the total weights of this Holy Quran is 500 kg. It has 218 pages of cloth and paper and bound inside an embossed leather cover made from the skins of Twenty-one goats and its cost is about half a million dollars to create.

The previous Quran that claimed the world’s largest, that’s pages were 2 meters by 1.5 meters. But now Afghan calligrapher’s created Quran became the largest in the world. It is now in the libray of Afghanistan’s cultural heritage and traditions in Kabul.
