In order that we get some more understanding about the different between these two concepts, and how brain interprets their functions we need to applied them to our lives daily.

. Sympathy is ability to recognise the needs, to show care and feel sorry or express pity to someone in suffering mode.

. Empathy is an humble act of been considerable, putting some one in your own shoes, to consider how they might be feeling.

They both can prompt some one to exhibit behaviours such as

1) Expressing compassion verbally or non verbally

2) Providing care or assistance

Sympathy do involve recognition function in the frontal lobes of the brain's third layer, while empathy may include functions in the lower right lobes of the cerebrum.

It is mostly believed there are many connectors between the right Celebral hemisphere (third brain layer) and the limbic system (second brain layer) where emotional impulse arises.

Some individuals have enough energy to take advantage in the right hemisphere which enable them to be more in touch with their emotions.

But most importantly, human being most be able to exhibit sympathy and empathy at a point in time and still be able to get the job done without a negative consequences backfire.

Definitely in our daily we most carefully express the two concept whenever it is necessary, and they must be well applied, and if you've tried everything but failed, then try empathy.

Empathy helps to developed an act of unspoken understanding for others, it also help in mutual decision making, good in a relationship, partnership and it helps in the family.
