Evan Bourne has been suspended 60 days for 2nd Wellness Violation

(Stamford, Connecticut) Today on January 17, 2012, WWE announced they have suspended Matthew Korlan (Evan Bourne) 60 days for violating their Wellness Policy for the second time. In approximately two months, Evan Bourne has violated WWE’s wellness policy.

In November 2011, Evan Bourne violated the policy, and now in January 2012 he violated the policy. If Bourne violates the Wellness Policy once more, he is gone from the WWE permanently. His suspension explains why Air Boom lost their tag team titles to Epico and Primo a few days ago.

Former WWE announcer Todd Grisham commented on Bourne’s second violation of WWE’s Wellness Policy:

“Shocked about Evan Bourne. Once could be chalked up to a bad decision…twice and there’s a real problem. Hope he gets well. Great guy.”

Evan Boune issued his statement on Twitter:

“Sorry y’all. Sometimes we become our own worst enemy,”
