Nickelodeon Choice Awards 2011

In 2012 The Kid’s Choice Awards will celebrate 25 years of honouring the favourites of the younger set. Stars walk the orange carpet and green slime is routinely thrown at award winners. The winning stars take home a blimp shaped trophy.

As the 2012 award season begins, Nickelodeon has announced that the host for this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards willl be 10 time KCA winner Will Smith. The Kid's Choice Awards will take place on March 31 in Los Angeles. Last year Smith and family looked on as song Jaden’s movie “The Karate Kid” won an award.

Smith will be joining an illustrious list of KCA hosts that include, the very first KCA ceremony was hosted by the foursome of Tony Danza, Debbie Gibson, Brian Robbins, and an Schneider. Since then Nicole Eggert, Wil Wheaton, Dave Coulier, Dave Fostino, Candace Cameron, Croin Nemec, Paula Abdul, Holly Robinson, Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green, Joey Lawrence, Candace Cameron, Whitney Houston, Rosie O’Donnell eight times, Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers, Ben Stiller, Justin Timberlake, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin James, and Jack Black three times including last year.
