The Holy Kaaba & The Mecca Royal Clock Tower

Osama Bin Laden is dead but his name would not die – the Binladen family plans to build the tallest building in the world. Standing at 1-Km tall in Saudi Arabia, it would be taller than Burj Khalifa (838 meters) in Dubai, the tallest building in the world at present.

The Kingdom Tower would be built on the outskirts of the Red Sea city of Jeddah – the traditional gateway to the holy city of Mecca.

The Saudis plan to name it the Kingdom Tower and it would have a Four Seasons Hotel, serviced apartments, luxury condominiums, and offices and would cover nearly half a million square meters.

A contract of $1 billion has been already been awarded for the spire.
