Hats off to the hats gifted to Kate and William

A hat appears to be the most popular gift given to the Royal couple of Kate Middleton and Prince William during their overseas trips – they have received 20 different types of hats and headgears as gifts from their hosts.

These included trendy baseball caps for the Prince William and elegant fascinators for Kate apart from cowboy hats for both who are good horse riders. In Australia, William received a traditional Akubra hat.

Kate on her part received a blue hat from a Canadian minister and two fascinators – one made of tartan and the other of peacock feathers.

The logic is simple – a hat has a charm of its own and can work wonders with one’s personality. It is true for even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
