What is the pell grant?

University of Phoenix is a joke. If you’re going to waste your money with this University then you might as well not go to college at all. If you go on Google and read all the reviews about them, you will see that they’re a rip off and any intelligent person would run for their life. I’ve read so many rip off reviews about them and I’ve also had a terrifying experience with them that I will never spend my money there or even recommend it to anyone. They’re a disaster with many lawsuits already and still some more to come. They’re a liability to you. You’re better off at a community college and then going to a State college where you can get legitimate financial aid and a legitimate college degree.

After you read all the negative reviews on Google, you will decide for yourself if it’s worth of your money and time. The degree from UoP is not respected and even accepted at most prestigious companies like Intel. Intel pulled their reimbursement from their program due the many lawsuits that UOP have outstanding. If you google them, you will find that UOP is a major disappointment. You risk wasting valuable time and energy. Employers might even look at you funny if you get a degree from them. You buy your degree here I heard and you don’t earn it. The classroom is build for people to buy their degree instead of earning it. You get to read books online that are copyrighted and they’re currently dealing with this issue. It seems like a Barbie school to me.

If you ever get to talk with their rep. or counselors, you will find that they are not a professional company. They’re more of a for profit corporation trying to make as much money as they can instead of educating people. They’re sales people. If you talk to a rep. or a counselor, they will try to sell you a package instead of really trying to help you get your financial aid. I got the feeling that they want you to be stuck with a $40k loan instead of helping you get the Pell grant. I bet that they’re trying to sweep that into their pocket while making you take out a 40K loan for a Barbie degree that’s not worth a cent.

I was talking to the counselor and he tried hard to avoid the Pell grant option. I have a feeling that the federal government is trying to ban this school and is not offering them Pell Grant or even Federal loan. It’s an embarrassed school. I can’t believe that I would even talk to them. I was excited at the chance to learn more from my own time but not when it’s so trashy like this. I urge that you read all the negative reviews about them before you decide to stick with them. UOP, you’re better off without them.
