SNOW IN LOWER HIMACHAL

2012 has brought for the first time snow in plains of Himachal.Areas such as Hamirpur,Chintpurni,Nadaun,Jawalaji,Dhaliara,Shahpur,Raja Ka Talaab has first time witnessed snow in last 50 years.Snowfall has been reported in Shimla,Manali,Rohtang,Pangi and Dharamshala also.

Places in Una district have also received snowfall bringing in cold spell to the area.

Concept of Global Warming has been reversed here in Himachal as plain areas are getting snowfall at times when it is said that Hill Areas such as Shimla would no longer receive snow in future.

Anybody planning to come to Shimla or Manali will see snow at most of places in Himachal as of now.
