Keri Russell has become a mother again. The “Felicity” star reportedly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Tuesday, December 27. Her representative confirmed the news to Us Weekly.
This is Keri’s first daughter with her husband of four years, Shane Deary. The couple is also parents to a 4-year-old son, River Russell Deary.
According to Keri Russell’s representative, the couple’s bundle of joy was named Willa Lou Deary. "Everyone's happy and healthy," the rep. told People.
So far details regarding the baby's height or weight have not been released, but it's only a matter of time before the baby girl shows up on the cover of a celeb magazine.
Keri Russell met Shane Deary, a carpenter, through a mutual friend and they tied the knot in 2007 on Valentine’s Day in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends. The pair welcomed son River the same year. They have since lived together in Brooklyn, New York.
Talking to Hoda Kotb andon “Today” back in November 2009, 35-year-old Hollywood actress Keri Russell explained how becoming a mother made her more sensitive to children.
“You become a mom and you sort of think, ‘Is it going to change everything?’ But it doesn’t. You still like what you like,” Keri said at the time. “But I think the one thing is it makes you very sensitive and in tune to kids. If any kid is in peril, you’re like, ‘That’s my kid!’”
Keri Russell, best known for starring in the WB television series “Felicity” as the title character, previously told New York Observer, "I just feel like child birth is one of the most powerful things that happen to a woman.” The beautiful actress announced her second pregnancy in July.
Keri Russell and her husband have kept their personal life away from the media spotlight. When asked about how she maintained a balance between her work life and family life, the “August Rush” star explained, "I like getting to be in the adult world a little bit and then getting to be in the mom world and cook dinners," she told People in 2010. "And, for me, that balance is what makes it nice."
The actress most recently appeared opposite actorin the TV comedy “Running Wilde”, but the sitcom was canceled after one season. Kerr Russell next stars in the romantic comedy “Austenland” out this year.
