The economy is getting better in Las Vegas. There are some sectors that are still slow but others are fast pace and they're hiring back. Even though government is even freezing hiring in Las Vegas. They're even cutting out teachers and government workers. When you cut out government workers, there is a serious indication of budget problems. However, we are still doing better than some other states like CA. It's terrifying in CA.

Casinos are now hiring back and most of my family members is going back to work when they have been laid off just several months ago. Station Casino is banktrupt and now they're being sold to Boyd gaming. I hope that Boyd gaming will do better so they can offer more jobs.It 's funny how all of these casinos keep going broke. It must be the management or the employees. It's almost embarassing to work here in Vegas. They need better management staff. I guess smart people don't want to live in this heat because they can live elsewhere so we get the left over that really don't know much.

It's great to tour the city but terrifying to live here or work here. At least jobs are coming back and this is what is important. We need to have those jobs out. This is now May and jobs are getting back up. Casinos are hiring a few which is a good sign. However, the recession is a painful one and it taught my family many lessons. You need a really good support system sometimes in tough time like this and we must watch out for those Wall Street frauds CEO. It's good to see the economy doing better. I hope that jobs are going back up everywhere else too.
