Tom Hooper, the acclaimed director of The King’s Speech, will be helming Les Miserables. Casting is nearing completion and it appears he has added two talented blondes to the cast.
According to Twitch, the studio behind the film and Hooper has offered the roles of “Cosette” and “Eponine” to Amanda Seyfried (In Time) and country superstar(The Lorax) respectively. Swift beat out some top stars for the part. Stars like Scarlett Johansson, Glee’s Lea Michel and Evan Rachel Wood while Seyfried is quietly a trained opera singer. Both their skills will be perfect since Hooper is said to film all the singing parts live on camera.
If the two accept the roles, they will join Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe,, and Eddie Redmayne.
