Doing the Dew? Well, you better thing again. When Pepsi Co., was facing a lawsuit from a man who claims to have found a dead mouse in his Mountain Dew can, the company has an especially creative, if disgusting, defense: their soda would have dissolved a dead mouse before the man could have found it.
The company tested the product and stated, “Our product is essentially a can of battery acid.” But yet they continue to sell the product to the public. If the product is strong enough to dissolve a mouse carcass, then what will it do to human insides?
What a defense!
So now you’re tell the public what they are drinking can virtually dissolve their intestines? Over what period of time? I would think the product should be pulled from shelves.
Doing the Dew just might not be a good idea after all. According to the court record. (It would have become a "jelly-like substance," according to Pepsi.)
