21 Workers Killed in Colombian Mine Blast

Three workers were killed Monday by an explosion at an illegal gold mine in the municipality of Puerto Berrio, the Colombian department of Antioquia.

An official said that could have been a deficiency of oxygen, carbon dioxide presence, which caused the explosion.

A rescue team is traveling to the scene to recover the bodies and confirm the causes of the outbreak.
