Obama pushes for sanctions against Iran

U.S. President Barack Obama has conferred with the signing of the U.S. military budget 2012, new sanctions against Iran, the force of law. Amidst the recent tensions between Washington and Tehran to take further sanctions, the Iranian central bank and the financial sector. Strictly applied, they do it for most refining companies almost impossible to buy oil from the world's fourth largest oil producer. The U.S. government wants to apply the new rules but flexible to avoid damage to the global energy markets.

The sanctions are to put the Iranian leadership for its controversial nuclear program remained under pressure. Obama has signed the measures, despite his concerns that the move could complicate the construction of an international front against Tehran, said U.S. officials in Hawaii, where the president spends his Christmas vacation.

Resumption of talks

Previously, Iran had declared the resumption of international talks on its nuclear program is ready. He had called the six participants officially for the resumption of talks, chief negotiator Saeed Jalili said, according to a report by the official news agency IRNA, Iranian diplomats in Tehran.

Also apparently a general has declared the Revolutionary Guard that the threatened closure of the Strait of Hormuz is for oil shipments from the table. Talks about a thing of the past, it said on the website of the troops, sepahnews.com. Iran but have other ways of responding to Western aggression.
