Family apparently reigns supreme for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. So it’s no surprise that the royal couple will reportedly be ushering in New Year surrounded by family.
Prince William andwill be traveling to Aberdeen, Scotland, for their first New Year after marriage, informs a source.
Once there they will be staying at Birkhall, a sprawling 53,000 acre estate in Balmoral which is owned by William’s father,, and spouse, Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall.
American Us magazine quoting a source informed that the newly wedded couple will stay at Birkhall for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. “Charles and Camilla will be flying there, too,” added the source.
It is believed Kate’s parents Michael and Carole, who had earlier spent Christmas at home, while she spent her first festive season with the royals; have also been invited.
While the senior Middletons are expected at Birkhall for the New Year festivities, they are not likely to be staying with the royal family, informs the same source.
“They are staying at Teapot Cottage or another Cottage on the estate, not Birkhall itself,” the source further revealed.
Meanwhile for Gary Barlow’s charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall, the fashion icon of many Britons - Duchess Kate Middleton was attired in a black and cream lace mini-dress, a Zara creation.
