Christmas Day Massacre Blamed To Estranged Husband Dressed As Santa Claus

Sgt. Roger Eberling of the Grapevine Police Department said Aziz Yazdanpanah, 56, the estranged husband of one of the victims, was to blame for the massacre that killed six people at an apartment in Grapevine, Texas, on Christmas day, abc news said.

Yazdanpanah showed up to his wife’s apartment dressed in Santa Claus suit and just as the family and friends had exchanged gifts he opened fire killing all six in the living room and then killed himself.

Friends of the family said Yazdanpanah had been having financial troubles after his real estate business slowed down and the separation with his wife, Nasrin Rahmaty, had made matters worse.

Sedi Toumani, one of the family friends, said "during the years, we sensed things, but not to the point he would take his own children's lives."
