South Africa v Sri Lanka - 2nd Test, Day 2

DURBAN: On Monday Dec. 26, 2011 2ND Test Match between South Africa and Sri Lakna is playing today at Kingsmead, Durban. Sri Lanka won the toss and chosed to bat first.

Sri Lanka lost their 1st wicket at 35 runs. The 1st batsman who went back to pavillion was NT Paranavitana who scored just 12 runs. The 2nd wicket of Sri Lanka fell down at 47 runs. This time the batsman was KC Sangakkara who got the duck.

South Africa bowler M de Lange took the both wickets. Now Sri Lanka completed their first fifty and the score is 54/2.

For today match South Africa squad is, Hashim Amla, MV Boucher, M de Lange, AB deVilliers, Imran Tahir, JH Kallis, M Morkel, AN Petersen, VD Philander AG Prince, JA Rudolph, GC Smith, DW Steyn and LL Tsotsobe.

While Sri Lanka squad is, KG Alvitiqala, LD Chandimal, TM Dilshan, CRD Fernando, HMRKB Herath, DPMD Jayawardene, FDM Karunaratne, AD Mathews, BAW Mendis, NT Paranavitana, NLTC Perera, KTGD Prasad, TT Samaraweera, KC Sangakkara, JK Silva HDRL Thirimanne and UWMBCA Welegedara.

Sri Lankan had lost the first test match of the series, so South Africa leaded the series by 1-0.
