I’d be smiling too, if I could get hold of one of the new batteries the Apple Company was hoping to produce next year using hydrogen cells that could make your iPhones and iPods last for weeks without having to recharge.
The company has already submitted applications for patents to their plan which said, the use of hydrogen cells could ‘potentially achieve high volumetric and gravimetric energy densities, which can potentially enable continued operation of portable electronic devices for days or even weeks without refueling.'
And it’s eco-friendly too, with by-products having only water and electrical energy.
Apple said it’s a technological breakthrough. Although the idea of hydrogen fuel technology wasn't new, the departure from standard batteries to create new energy sources to produce lighter and longer-lasting hydrogen cells would be a massive improvement for the company after the death of legendary Apple founderin October.
