Namibia Great space ball mystery has been solved

It triggered a national security issue, and Namibian authorities had to call NASA asking for their help in identifying the strange object. When a mysterious metal sphere fell to the ground in a desert of Northern Namibia, last month.

The 13lbs, 14 inches mystery ball that caused a 12 inches deep and 13ft wide crater after smashing into the ground, was also hailed as a doomsday device or proof of alien existence.

But now the mystery has been resolved, as the mystery ball was identified as a tank for storing hydrazine on unmanned rockets, commonly used in satellite launches.

In answer to question about the several explosions heard by the locals, in the days before the mystery ball was found. Police forensics director Paul Ludik said, that the explosion could have been the sonic boom when the metal sphere broke the sound barrier coming down to Earth, and by the impact on the ground.
