NEW DELHI, India (Dec. 20) – All Pakistani artists, including Veena Malik, should be sent back to their country, demanded by Shiv Sena leader.
The hardliner veteran politician burst out against Veena Malik in his editorial in the party's paper Saamna. Thackeray also expressed his anger on other artists from her country performing in Bollywood.
In context to various Veena Malik-related headlines in recent past, including her controversial photo shoot for FHM India; Thackeray said, “"Veena Malik is a blot on our country's culture.” Her disappearance story, her disgraced scenes in Bigg Boss, her controversial cover shoot and even her every thing is just mean for cheap publicity, he wrote further.
Thackeray also criticized the Bollywood’s trend to hire Pakistani artists and many of them never left back to Pakistan. Many of them might be part og any terrorism outfits, he said.
On the other hand, Pakistani government doesn't even give visas to our artists. There is a virtual ban on entry of, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle in Pakistan.
Referring to Veena Malik’s Indian co-star in Bigg Boss 4, Dolly Bindra, Thackeray added that Veena Malik has ISI connections and if it is reality then the person should be jailed who gave her Visa.
He concluded his editorial saying that 'we should clean up our country and send Veena Malik to hell'.
