India suddenly cold, 39 people died

20-12 Communications India said 39 people had died in a sudden cold spell swept across the north country.

Among the victims, mostly elderly and homeless.

Where there is dead Uttar Pradesh state, then the Punjab andHaryana states. Delhi is also affected when the temperature drops below 2.3 degrees C and thick fog disrupting aviation operations.

In areas of Kashmir controlled by India, even down totemperatures below 0 degrees C.

BBC said the fog was cold with disturbing the lives of people andforced many schools to close.

An official weather forecasting agency said the cold weather will continue in the coming days.
