Kim Jong Il North Korea Leader Dies, Son Kim Jong Un New Leader

New North Korean leader Kim Jong Un bowed before the coffin of his father, who died on Saturday, the leader Kim Jong Il, giving him a tribute - state mediareported today in Pyongyang.

"Comrade Kim Jong Un, he went before the coffin of Comrade Kim Jong Il with the representatives of the party, government and military to express their pain and send condolences" - said official news agency KCNA.

North Korean media provide the stage of collective mourning in North Korea after yesterday about the death of Kim Jong Il, who died of a heart attack. The funeral of the deceased leader is to be held December 28.

Kim Jong Un was anointed successor to Kim Jong Il, the latter himself seized power in 1994 after the death of his father, North Korea founder Kim Il Sung, who inaugurated the first communist dynasty the world.
