Doctors Ron and Rand Paul: Can they heal America?

Texas Congressman Ron Paul has a son who is a U.S. Senator named Rand Paul who has clearly followed in his father's footsteps from a medical doctor to a politician--but, why?

Let's break it down and simplify it into a possible scenario.

Dr. Ron Paul was an OBGYN and Dr. Rand Paul was on opthamologist.

Doctors and politicians with integrity have a lot in common.

Most skilled doctors help people individually.

Excellent politicians can make a tremendous difference in people's lives both independently and as a whole group.

Healthy humans want to grow, adapt and progress in their contributions.

Changing from a medical career to a political career is a natural progression of expansion of one's abilities, talents and desires to make a difference in a group of people's lives rather than just each individually.

Perhaps therein lies the motivation of the father-son team--the drive to help MORE people.

In the above new campaign video, Rand says, "My father taught me the value of faith, family and our Constitution."

Senator Rand Paul talks about GOP Republican candidate Ron Paul's strong stand against big government and bailouts.

Young Dr. Paul may help America see that older Dr. Paul will cut the umbilical cord of unlimited spending and give America back their freedom when he takes over in 2012. Just think, soon the people will be walking and talking on their own.

Could it be that these former physicians just want to heal what originally made America great?
