As we prepare to turn the calendar to a new year, magazines, newspapers, and various other publications assemble their best of lists.

Each week Nielson Soundscan tracks the sales of every song and album that is released; while Billboard Magazine charts the music according to those sales on their various charts.

Each of the top 25 songs have topped the two million mark in sales. And while there are still a few weeks left in 2011, the numbers will change and maybe even a few of the songs will move or be replaced on the top 25.
