A recent online poll conducted by The Daily Star attempted to identify the ten hottest females from the world of sports. English track cyclist Victoria Pendleton has emerged as the winner.
Second spot is claimed by Kirsty Gallacher. While not an athlete per se she she is a presenter for Sky Sports.
Third spot goes to current tennis glamor girl Ana Ivanovic. The Serbian princess has tasted success early in her career having claimed the world number one ranking and winning the French Open singles title.
Tennis players are the most heavily represented in the results with Russian beauties Anna Kournikova and Maria Sharapova as well as Swiss Miss Martina Hingis present in the list.
Completing the lineup are American golfer Natalie Gulbis, Tatiana Grigorieva and Sasha Cohen.
