Each year during the holidays lighting displays are abound as are the sounds of Christmas songs from every radio, stereo, and music system.
This season the city of Niagara Falls, New York added a new holiday tradition to the annual festivites - the Holiday Market.
On November 28 a tree lighting ceremony was held to kick off the holiday season and to signal an official opening to the Holiday Market.
The ceremony included music and an ice skating show from members of the Niagara Skaing Club.
The Holiday Market features over 50 venders, selling merchandise and food, and an ice skating rink.
The Holiday Market will be open daily throughout the holidays.
The Market is located along Old Falls Street between the entrance to the Niagara Falls State Park and the Seneca Niagara Casino.
