The Obamas go to church in style on a Rick Perry dare!

The Obamas were spotted heading off to church via foot from the White House, traversing Lafayette Park to get to St. John's Church for their Sunday services on December 11, 2011 in Washington, DC.

The buzz is that President Obama’s stance on religion was on personal attack in a commercial launched by Rick Perry, that claims that Barack Obama has a supposed “war on religion.”

Politics aside, the First Lady of the United States, affectionately known as FLOTUS, was right on-trend in her lovely fitted beige sheath dress with matching beige coat, accessorizing with cream pearls and knee high black boots (I love these boots with their pointed styling!). President Obama was all in distinguished dark colors with a navy suit and black overcoat and scarf.

Older daughter Malia was stylish in pink overcoat with a cream pattern, accessorizing with a cream scarf, cognac colored flats and burgundy tights, while younger daughter Sasha donned a black overcoat with a white fleece peterpan collar and white buttons, accessorizing with black tights and lace-up black oxford shoes.

Looks like President Barack Obama was up to the challenge - touche!
