
Barbara Orbison, the widow of rock n 'roll pioneer Roy Orbison, died on the anniversary of the death of her husband, 23, a family spokesman said. He was 60.
Barbara Orbison died from pancreatic cancer at County-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles surrounded by her children, said the public relations agent and family spokeswoman Sarah McMullen. Orbison was hospitalized from May.
Since the eighties, Barbara Orbison has devoted his time to manage the property of her husband and maintenance of his legacy alive.
With his son, Roy Kelton Orbison Jr. has produced in the form associated with a series of four-CD box of 107 recordings of her husband. "Roy Orbison: The Soul of Rock and Roll" was released in 2008 and contains all its hits and 12 previously unreleased tracks.

Barbara Orbison is survived by his sons, Wesley Orbison, 46, Roy Kelton Orbison, Jr., 41, and Alexander Orbison, 36.
