APOEL Nicosia Vs FC Porto (2 - 1) Highlights - Champions League 01.11.2011

Group G has been the biggest surprise out of all of the groups in the UEFA Champions League. Check out the standings to find out why.

1. APOEL Nicosia -- 9 points.

2. Zenit-St. Petersburg -- 8 points.

3. FC Porto -- 7 points.

4. Shakhtar Donetsk -- 2 points.

It's been the most surprising because Shakhtar Donetsk laid an egg in the Group Stage, while APOEL is in first place at this moment in time. APOEL have capitalized on the horrible economic situation in Greece by signing many free agents away from Greek clubs during the offseason. As a result, APOEL is already guaranteed a spot in the Champions League Round of 16. The second spot will go to either Zenit or Porto. Zenit advances with either a tie or a win on the road, while Porto needs to win this match.

Predictions: APOEL will tie with Shakhtar while Zenit will tie with Porto giving the two spots to APOEL and Zenit-St. Petersburg.
